Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the air
Anticipations are high
Covering what's bare

Wait and see's the phrase
So many colors to grow
It will sure amaze.

Look around and see
All the wonders of the earth
What will nature be

See the clouds up high
See the funny shapes they make
Watch the clouds go by

Playing Peek-a-boo
Young sprouts poking up their heads
Raindrops touch the ground

Watch the tree limbs blow
Listen to their gentle song
Blooming such a show

Look at waterfalls
Dancing over rocks and stones
Listen: Nature calls

Birds sing happily
Having fun as they do fly
Soaring easily

Winter says good night
Traveling round the world to grace
With its snow so white

Seasons chase the globe
Enjoy each while it is here
Spring now spreads her robe

Oh Nina - this is beautiful. I can see the slow unfurling of spring.

Bless you this day, my friend.

For some reason, this poem reminded me of myself and the joy I take in nature and the changing of the seasons. Lovely words and thoughts, Nina, as always. Love the gorgeous springtime photos as well!

I seem to have developed tendonitis or some kind of over use injury in my left wrist and hand...making typing painful for me...so I might not be blogging as much for a while... this includes commenting on your amazingly inspiring blog-and this is soooooo hard for me. (this is kind of a form message I've typed and am copying and pasting at all my favorite blog hangouts. Sorry it must seem completely random in relation to your post) I can still read your posts- I will be present to you in a quiet way-reading and viewing your words and images, and leaving a simple ☺
to let you know I have dropped by and am thinking about you.

Gentle steps,
Laura

Such a beautiful Haiku!!! You are so terrific...I especially love "Playing Peek-a-boo
Young sprouts poking up their heads..." It captures the sense of spring so perfectly...it plays peek-a-boo with us...fluctuating temperatures, sunshine and rain...and of course the emerging sprouts! Loved this! ~Janine XO

Nina.. how is it that you can just write so beautifully and so effortlessly? I struggled so often just to make past the second line... and then..neante.
