Joyously Dancing in Soft Petal Showers

Joyously Dancing in Soft Petal Showers

Love's me, love's me not, love's me...
My mantra of Hope from this child's soul
Excitement is high as each petal I pull
Round and round to what future it holds

Such emotions I feel as soft petals fall
My heart beats as I keep going strong
Everything is in this flower I hold
Each petal is life once here and now gone

High Hopes with each as I gently tug
Each one holds answers as I move along
The pile at my feet keeps getting bigger
Savoring each petal for the wisdom it has

I close my eyes praying with Faith as I pull
I take a deep breath as I continue my quest
Stopping I wonder, just a little, "What if?"
There's so many flowers I have yet to pick

As with the last petal ; "loves me" is heard
The heart of a child goes on with great zeal
Like falling rain I throw over my head.
Joyously dancing in soft petal showers

Nina for me its always the journey.
As I joyously dancing in faith and hope and stop along the way to smell the flowers and savour the wisdom that is gathered, before I set off in another direction.
Lovely poem, beautifully written.
No matter what the outcome remember to keep shining and smiling.

Ah sweetie, this is beautiful. I remember the joy in my heart of "loves me, loves me not" - when I seemed to always end "loves me". Maybe I cheated, I don't remember. I just remember the JOY.

Great poem, Nina, about the petals. I read a blog recently about a school group taking the petals from tulips (which they were reharvesting) and making beautiful murals... She had a picture and it was so beautiful.

Hugs,
Betsy

This was brought on by memories from carefree childhood. Running and playing in the sunshine. finding little flowers that held answers for this child's mind.

Thank you all for joining me on this little journey back in time... who am I kidding, next daisy I see... (smiles)

Never loose sight of the child within!

Blessings to you and yours.
