The Seed of Life...

The seed of life starts small, yetwhen planted and fed it changes and grows. As it sets its roots deep into theearth, it sends up a fragile shoot into the challenges of life. If kept in thedark, the growth will fade and not flourish. Add the Warmth of the Light andthe fragile shoot lifts its head stretching, reaching, gaining strength andcourage to grow. The Light invigorates the seed, giving it energy and theability to thrive.... yet light without nourishment is not enough to sustainthe seed.

Storms come and challenge theseed. However, with the storm comes the nourishment of rain. Even through thedarkest and toughest storms, there is something that is given to the seed. Whenroots run true and deep , the strength is there to weather the storms of life.If the seed is never challenged, it may not be able to withstand the strains ofthe cycles of life... hence, from struggle there comes strength.

Whenthe night comes and moonbeams shine, there is rest. A time andplace for reflection, healing, change, and growth. It is a time to contemplate andsoftly resonate with life. A time tolook to the stars and see the connections of life. A time to listen to thebreeze and hear the wisdom of the ages. A time to dream, learn, and connectwith the eternal. A place where new growth may want to stay and be held inmoonbeams and dreams.

The seasons come and go and the rotation of life beckons our innerspirit. A new dawn awakens and the day begins Blessed with the power and strength of Light. Stretching towards the Light, itnourishes through the leaves, to the stem and roots. Gaining strength andhealth, color and glory the seed of life is nourished and grows.

Each day, each cycle of life, bringswith it opportunities to persevere and grow. We are but seeds of humanitygaining from our earthly experiences. By learning lessons and growing In, Withand Through the Light, we find Hope, Courage, Healing and Love. Through thediversity of experiences, we can live. Our soul grows in the Light, findsnourishment with the Spirit, and thrives through God's Love.

May you grow strong roots inthe soil of the ONE Truth, may you germinate and grow ever reaching for the ONELight, and may you Thrive with the knowledge that we are all brothers andsisters of the eternal family of ONE God. May we all nurture each other andgrow into the beautiful Garden of our Creators design.

Zombies, Vampires, Mummies, Ghosts, Skeletons and Spirit; with a hint of chocolate

This is the season of monsters andscary things, scary thoughts, and thingsthat go bump in the night… a season of fun and a season of fears. So I titled this: Zombies, Vampires,Mummies, Ghosts, Skeletons and Spirit; with a hint of chocolate (after all, itis October, and we all know what that means? – the national holiday of Halloween!)

So with Love and Light and in the“spirit of October” let’s start on our little “Haunted Journey” by making ourown haunted film: (lights down please)

As we take our first step into ourhaunted thoughts... deep into the darkness of our fears… What horror film iscomplete without the “Living Dead” … the Zombie or ghoul! So I knew who to castfor this role, I looked up Wiki-pediaand they describe a ZOMBIE as: A termused to denote an animated corpse brought back to life by mystical means. Hmmm that seems to fit our need for theseason…. It also goes on and says theterm is often figuratively applied to describe hypnotized people lackingconsciousness and self awareness; yet they ambulate and are able to respond tosurrounding stimuli.

Wow, take away the scary music from the movieand the fake decaying make up; and,... well… this definition takes on a wholenew meaning. How many of you knowsomeone that fits this description? Orhow often do we ourselves fit this description?

Walking around at work empty, with outemotion, just ambulating going thought the motions. Blindly doing… without true thought… puttingone foot in front of the other…. Maybe we do this at home, in school, shopping,relationships, work? …. We respond to surrounding stimuli without selfawareness or consciousness; we are the “living dead”. We all find ourselves here; at various levels;at some point in our lives… the “why bother”, “just another day of the sameold, same old..”. We go through the motions of walking, eating and talking yetinside we are not alive, we are empty. We exist but life has no meaning…Thoughts of the lovable, yet in another light, kind of “scary”, Winnie thePooh’s Eore. With his “Why bother”, or “oh bother” fit this Zombie as wellbecause of his loss of self worth, self esteem… the Zombie has forgotten whothey are and why they are here. They just move for the sake of movement, theiremotion and consciousness are gone…or are simply not responding.

A good October horror film wouldn’t beworthy of nail biting unless it was filled with a little suspense, so I’llleave you with the Zombie just as we found it… (haunted sounds here)

The night air is silent and still… thedarkness surrounds us…not a sight can be seen….and the only sound is the beatof your own heart…(sounds of the wind andowl hoots).. Suddenly a chilling breeze crosses your face….and the darknesscomes alive…. the Vampire hasarrived…. : a mythological or folklorebeing who subsists by feeding on the Life Essence of Living Creatures!

InJohn Polidorei’s 1819 novella “the Vampire”; he established thevampire as a charismaticand sophisticated being!

Hmm… how many of us have had Vampireinfestations or situations? What are they you might ask? Well… haven’t we allexperienced the High energy and Fun filled room that suddenly stops whensomeone enters … you can literally feelthe “Life force” being sucked out of the room…. The whole room changes; theenergy lessens, and the mood is more subdued.

In some cases we may even be the vampire… feeling down or low, we may seekout someone with higher more vibrant energy to give us a “boost”.

In these cases of vampire-ism, theperson is just in need of energy and really has no clue they are draining itfrom another. They get this rejuvenated feeling and figure the other person isgetting the same effect. These Vampires are “Clueless” you might say as to howthey “drain others”. They are notnecessarily bad, just unaware of how they affect others with their negativity.

BUT BEWARE..(dramatic and scary music here)....There are other Vampires thatare extremely dangerous because theyknow exactly what they are doing. Theygo into a room or situation with the intent of sabotaging others andpurposefully drain their life essence from them…. They do this with such charismaand charm that people even invite them to parties and situations that alloweven greater drainage of energy from even more people. These Vampires arefilled with Ego; they need power and sub-servants to feed the never ending voidthey have inside…. You see, if they make themselves appear powerful by drainingothers energies… their ego grows as does their perceived power and they don’thave to look at their own emptiness, loneliness, fears, etc…. As a matter of fact, due to their charm andsophistication their victims put them on a pedestal and worse yet, even in aplace of power over others…which perpetuates the problem… (amajor example would be the once charismatic leader Hitler. His original charmand manipulation of people made him a dangerous vampire... until people becameawakened to who he really was and he got his just reward. Sadly, not beforedestroying a lot of good people and places in the world... his damage is stillfelt today) But, these beings are shallow and hollow and can only surviveby using others. These Vampires may temporarily build a seemingly Grand “Houseof Cards” (if you will) by feeding their ego with others energies to gainpower. BUT…when the winds of Spirit/Godcome blowing in…. this house tumbles and the Truth is exposed.

(flickerlights and more scary music here, creaking door, groaning, etc..) Beware… as more MONSTERS still Lurk in the Dark!!!

Another such monster is “The Body of a human being embalmed as in preparation for burial:THE MUMMY!!! For our film here today, I want you topicture the kind of mummy that is wrapped up, or bound if you will…

For the sake of mixing a messagewith our horror film… I ask you: How do we wrap ourselves for burial? ...Do wehang on to arguments? Do we hang onto worries? How about those fears, hurts, resentments and anger? What aboutthose “Could-a, would-a, should-as”? ..The "I can’t"... "I amnot worthy"... "Not good enough"... What do you wrap yourselfin? What binds do you place on yourself that wraps you up or buries you? Whatdo you allow others; or rather give others permission, to wrap you in? ‘You’llnever amount to anything!”; "You're not smart enough, pretty enough,strong enough!", "You can’t and you know it!" "You’re not _______ enough!",etc...

How are we allowing ourselves; and ultimatelyour potential; to be wrapped? And how can we break those binds?... tune in next time… (onlykidding, we’ll get there soon)

Now we got-a have some GHOSTS!! For our purposes; ghosts are apparitions, translucent or wispyshapes and visions. A Ghost is an animated principal of the mind; a transparentor misty representation of a soul. Instead of goingwith the traditional version of a ghost, For this movie we are making, I amgoing with one of: a faint or mistyappearance of a true soul being. (startthe ghosts sounds please)

Don’t we all see missed potential inothers? in ourselves? People who are “ghosts” of who they truly areeither by fear, lack of self worth, or self confidence… basically we don’trealize or acknowledge who we really are… children of the ONE Divine God,Creator of Love and Light, etc... … We choose not to own this, or notsolidifying it to our fullest potential; either through fear, lack of knowledgeor self worth. Sometimes it’s simply a “Not Knowing Yet”… We therefore, areghosts of our fullest potentials, our fullest self.

(startthe bones rattling and doors creaking and shaking) And what scary film would be complete without a Skeleton or 2! SKELETONS:Those creaky old bones that shake, quake and make lots of racket… They onceseemingly supported something but now they just hide in our closets making somuch noise.. they sound bigger than what they are.

We all have skeletons that make somuch noise they scare us; and we try to keep them hidden in the dark so we andno one else can see them. But... skeletons… being skeletons… those old dried upbones make so much noise they sound bigger than life itself!! (startloud rattling bones and foot step sounds)

What are some of these skeletons wetry to keep hidden… well… it may be childhood fears… fear of the dark… ofabandonment… of loneliness. It could be the fear of heights, dogs, spiders, ormaybe it's old resentments, old hurts both physical, emotional and maybe evenspiritual. These deep dark secrets are things that we have hidden negativelyaffect ourselves in the present and potentially in the future… All of theseskeletons are kept alive in the dark corners of our minds… we put them away inboxes or hide them where they won’t bother us… we try to forget about them….And, well, it works for a while… untilsomething awakens them and they start to shake and rattle around… making somuch noise in the dark, they are huge and scary and have become bigger thanlife itself; and bigger than we can handle alone.

(stopall music... silence) Wow…. what Monsters we’ve found and created and carryaround with us on our Haunted Journey…. How truly scary this film is if we leave the story to end here… (startslowly bringing up the lights with each monster revisited)

These Monsters are familiar to us,and at times, they almost seem to belong with us… It may be easier to hang onto something familiar even if it no longer serves us, because oddly it feels comfortablebecause it is known to us …. And as humans, we usually want the easiest wayout, with the least amount of work… So we try to survive with these monstersrather than get rid of them.

(starttriumphant, empowering music here; softly, and increasing slightly with each re-visitedmonster) With the help of the ONE Source, Great Spirit, God, Divine,Creator, Teacher, Healer…. I challenge each of you to take on these Monsters....Yep take them on and give your movie, your journey a happy ending. We are united in the fact that we are all partof the ONE…We are all part of this circle of Life, this circle of ONE. Therefore, when we face our monsters, we are not facingthem alone, rather we are armed with the Truth that In, With and Through the ONE: together, we can face any foe… real or imagined. OurPower through the ONE is infinite and eternal.

So now that we are "armed"with the power of ONE, let's go in reverse and fight these Monsters one by one…

Skeletons in the dark seem to have asize much bigger than they do in the Light…. So go an open the door and ShineGod’s Light and Love into the deepest darkest corners of your skeletons hidingplace and see them for who and what they really are… events, things, places,people, of the past… they are like the skeletons…. old memories and hurts thatrattle around making noise. If you need someone with you to help guide you to face your fears; go with a friend, counselor,life coach, pastor or clergy, shaman,healer, etc.... But GO! Yes, go and face your fears armed and protected withthe True Love and Light of God/ Creator/ ONE and look at what is really thererattling around. Look with new and Loving eyes... and I know you will see those skeletons in a new Light…. The past can not hurt you ifyou shine God’s Light of Love into the deepest corners… Love is always theanswer… It sounds simple, but deep down you know it is true, for all of ourexperiences make us who we are today... and all are part of our circle of Life,our circle of ONE.... Learning to live with all that is in our circle, inourselves, without judgment, or emotion, but allow all, the good and bad, theyin and yang, to be...Find that balance through The Love and Light of the ONE. Skeletons only have importance, if wechoose to place importance on them... If we just allow them to be... by shiningLight on them we take away their "greatness: dispelling their fear, theircontrol over us.... by shedding the Light of Truth onto them...they no longerhave power over us... unless we choose to allow them to. Once they are exposedfor what they are, it is up to us to keep them, or let them go.

Once we have shed Light on ourskeletons... and found that balance to our circle of Life, circle of ONE, Wenow can tackle the Ghosts… the "not living up to our fullest potential"…Getting rid of, or facing, our skeletons puts us on the path of balance, thepath to self worth and accepting ourselves as children of the ONE Great Spirit,God, Love, Light, Divine…. Once we own our Truth, our Heritage, we find thatbalance and we are whole and ONE with the all. We can no longer live as ghosts if we are filled with the substance of Lightand Love.

When we have substance and selfworth, we are worthy of being who we are…. No excuses, no fears…. We can tearthrough all that binds us… for we allowed ourselves to be fooled into thinkingwe were bound by outside forces when it was all an inside job… we did it to ourselvesby accepting the negatives that we allowed to bind us….The "mummies binds" are broken as We are now free through the Love and Light ofGod.

Once we free ourselves from ourbinds we can see more clearly… we accept what is ours and don’t take on what isnot… We can shine our Light through Love... We can shine our light and share itwith others who, will take what they need and use it for the highest and best….How can you not be a victim to the sly and sophisticated vampire? How can youprotect yourself when you might not even know someone is draining you? ... wella wonderful teacher, once told me… that we all need to protect ourselves fromnegative people and situations… not take it into ourselves or into our heart,that which is harmful or hurtful, draining or negative…. Instead, place ashield of God’s Light over your heart… only allowing in what is for yourhighest and best…. And that shield will reflect back the negative that is beingcast your way… But, only after first changing it and healing it, and then reflectingit back to the sender so they may start their healing process… For when youhave a heart of Love and are infused with God’s Light, you can not be harmed.

Now this is not to say we all don’thave hard lessons to learn… but as Mother Theresa, Gandhi, Jesus, Buda, and all the beloved children of God that have taught and lived Love… Thesepeople's lives were not without difficulty…in fact rather the opposite, thelives they lead were very hard and filled with many challenges, trials and tribulations...It was how the difficulty was handled, how they responded and learned thelessons from all aspects of their lives, and then continued living and teaching the lessons of Love and Gods Lightever present throughout All.

Well wehave made it though almost all the Monsters now… and we are back to where we started… Hopefully,by battling all the other monsters, youcan see how you are learning to fill your journey with the purpose of living...Loving the life you are given... and through all your life's experiences, each lesson you go through you come out strongerthrough the Love and Light of the ONE... You then are on your way to living yourfullest potential! Your heart and soul have a conscious and compassionate reasonto LIVE and be ALIVE!….For YOU ARE a Child of the ONE Great Spirit... OneLight, One Love... You are part of the great circle of ONE.

You still might ask, "what if theZombie is someone else?"… well, we all know the power of healing thoughtsand prayers… we all know that by shining our Light and Love to all… we may justilluminate the spark they have inside of themselves…. That Light, thatcommonality of being; ONE in the Light; ONE with the Spirit and ONE through Love,One part of the circle of ONE; they may just begin to feel alive as well.... wecan only lead by example and education, prayer and positive intentions... therest is up to them... All is for a reason... and their "awakening"will come when it is their time, and ours will come when it is our time.

So we give a happy ending to ourfilm... our Haunted Journey... we acknowledge our Heritage as being part of thegreat circle of ONE, children of God, the ONE true Great Spirit,Teacher, Healer, …. And because it’s October…. this Spirit ends here with a hint of chocolate…for we all know... a little chocolate will sooth even the savage beasts.

May each of you find your Happy endingfor your life's journey; In, With and Through God’s Love and Light.

May you be part of the circle of ONE, andmay you always remember, that Together, we are ONE... Blessings to youand yours always.

With Truth all things are possible. With Love you never walkalone. With Light there is no darkness. Trust in Gods Truth, Light, and Love:for living in, with and through the ONE you will find strength, courage, compassion,...and you never walk alone.

Shot like a music video, hospital physicians and employees – wearing pink gloves to symbolize breast cancer advocacy – performed fun and simple dance routines to support the cause.

Highland has created a video that captures the spirit of our hospital and our community. And we entered our video in a national contest sponsored by Medline, creator of the surgical pink gloves worn in the video.

Hidden thoughts ofthe past

There's a shift aslight it stirs

Colors on theground

Greens stand assentry guards

Water central withno sound

Staring at the hazyview

Transfixed on whatwe see

A pallet changingall its color

As we awake and be

Fairy tales are inthis place

Misty silence;contemplate

Reflecting on thestream of Life

And the paths wetake

Past to present stories told

But what does lieahead?

Through the mist ariver bends

Is there hope ordread?

With fearful eyesand lack of hope

Color loses its hue

Stand firm in Truthand the Light

Be a Servant:

Be a servant of service for a Higher Calling, A Higher Power, a Higher Cause.

So much negativity is associated with the wordservant. It may bring negative emotions to some as they remember times ofpeople in power forcing others to "serve" their whims of greed andego. These people use(d) hate and fearto control others to make themselves feel superior, powerful, important....They use(d ) other human beings to fill the hole within themselves. If they controlothers they never had to look within to see what was there, or rather, what wasnot. They could be above others (in their mind at least) making others dowhatever he/she felt they wanted done. They felt or feel if they humiliate another human being bymaking them servants, they could be and feel whole.... However, in the deepest segmentsof their soul... they were still hollow, for nothing can fill a void that iscreated by ego and greed except the realization that once we let go of ego, letgo of greed, let go of the need, or wanting of power and controllingothers..... it is then, and only then, that we begin to feel whole. Then andonly then we can feel as part of the Greater Collective the ONE that Unites usall as Spirits of humanity, as spirits of Love, as spirits of the Highest,God..... but that is for another topic, another day...

Today, I want to focus on being a Servant, being ofService. Take away the negativity associated with the word servant and look atit with a pure heart and being a servant with faith, gratitude and Love. If you really think about it, that is why weare all here; to serve. And when we all realize this, what a better world it willbe.

If we are here to serve from/with a pure heart, thanwe are here to give. We are here to makethings better, to be a bridge between issues and problems and find solutions.And by giving freely of our individual talents without ego, without greed,without expectation; we open to the Light, to Love and we also receive. For itis impossible to give through Love and Light and not also receive. Receivewithout expectation, receive with an open heart and mind that which returns throughbeing a servant of Love and Light.

This concept was hard for me at first. for "isn'tit better to give than to receive?" A true statement if you are talking about "receiving"that which is not yours to receive; If you are "receiving" that whichis not yours to take; if you are "receiving" for the sake of ego andgreed; if you are "receiving" to obtain power or control, than youare actually not receiving at all but rather taking from or of another. And,no, this is not part of the Masters plan, this type of receiving or rathertaking, is always ego driven, powerdriven, again as I mentioned before, trying to fill a hole rather than findwhat is truly missing.... but that isanother topic for another day.

For those of us who have a hard time receiving; it isOK to receive. Because through giving, you have no choice but to receive. A dear friend of mine shared this littlestory with me that went something like this:

When you go and give freely to help anotherhuman being, you are giving, serving from thesoul. You may give of your time, your money, or helping to build or rebuildsomething that was lost. The person/people you are helping are in direneed of this help. For some of them too,it is hard to receive; as they may not feel worthy of such gifts, they may not be able to return the "favor",they may have the same problem of receiving as you do, yet their circumstance makes it impossible not to accept help. So they do, with a heart so full of gratitude and maybe unworthiness,they accept the help so they may survive.

As a thank you for what you havedone, they may take of what little they have and make, or give you something that is precious to them togive to you in return. Your heart issuch that your immediate response is to say: " no thank you, you keep it,you need it." Did you Lookat their faces when you said no to their gift of gratitude? Did you see you see the hurt in their eyes? I know yourheart was saying, they have so little, they need this, or this belonged to their ancestors, their family,they should keep this... but at some level,you dishonored them by not accepting their gratitude. You put yourself, yourego, abovethem by saying no thank you.

Next time, think of this before youturn away a gift of gratitude: Remember how good it made you feel when you freely gave/helped/served someone in need? ... well, when you do not open to receive their gift ofgratitude, of love, you are actually depriving them of that same feeling... and what gives you the right to make that judgmentand take away that gift, that feelingfrom them?" So accept the gift with a humble grateful heart and honor their spirit as they horror yours...and say Thank you.

True story and powerful words. They hit me in theheart like lead. There is a difference in taking for the sake of taking andreceiving that from another that is given with gratitude and love. For one isego, greed, and self serving and the other is an honoring; a union of soulsthrough Love.

How can we be a servant? Serve without expectation,serve with an open heart, serve in, with, and through Love. For if we all serve, give of ourselves, of ourtalents, of our soul we are serving the Higher Being, God, Creator, I AM. Givingof your time, your talents your money, your prayers, etc.. there are many waysto give. Random acts of kindness, letting someone in line, picking up garbage,opening a door, holding the elevator, paying for coffee, groceries, etc... thelist of service is endless. We can give of our time to help rebuild homes,churches, hearts. We can comfort those in need, we can rebuild what was lost,we can replenish pantries, plant gardens, spread Light and Love wherever wego... We can be Servants of the Eternal.

Be a Servant of Light and Love. Serve with an open andpure heart. And by doing this, you will have no choice but to receive. For wereceive so much gratitude, so much Love from the universe, from animals, from natureand other human beings in return for whatever our service may be. I feel the world,this community and ourselves would be so much better off if we learned to beTrue Servants of Life, of Eternity, of the Higher being/God.

Take away the mindset of ego and greed, the"what's in it for me" and replace it with a pure heart of Love andyou will have no choice but to be a servant of Life, of Hope, of Love. And bygiving, you will receive so much more than you can ever imagine. Try to giveand not receive something in return. Try it and you will find out you can't.For when you give freely from the heart of Love, you receive a gift of thesoul.

Still don't believe you can't give from a heart ofLove without receiving? Than here is my challenge to you: Open your heart topure Love and give a little. It doesn't have to be monetary however it can beif it is what is in your heart to do. It can be your time by helping outsomeone in need. It can be of prayer or meditation by sending healing or thehighest and best to another, others or the world.... It can be as simple as asmile. A smile from the soul filled with love. Just try it: if you see someonelooking sad, depressed, troubled, worried... give them a soulful smile. Not afake one but a true soulful smile, one you find deep in your heart and give itaway... not in pity but in, with and through LOVE... than imagine what thatperson may feel, do and on a greater level the world, when they receive agenuine smile... heart to heart, spirit to spirit, soul to soul... Just give itfreely and watch it bloom...

We can all be part of the whole, the ONE if we jointogether and have the Service mindset, for we all have many talents. So ourservices change and are varied for mine is different than yours, and his fromhers, and theirs from ours, etc... But if we all come to it with the samemindset: being a Servant of the Eternal, being here To Serve in with andthrough Love; what a Glorious World it would be! We would each then Servejoyously from the heart and receivejoyously from the soul. For when we join together our services we join as our part inthe ONE as servants for the Higher Good, the Higher purpose; LOVE.

This is one of the lessons we are meant to learn ashuman beings of the Divine, of Spirit, of Love. We are meant to be beings ofservice and through service we perpetuate Love, Hope, Peace and Harmony;Together we are ONE. And through service, we gain by receiving. For as we givein, with and through Love; the Infinite Spirit, God, replenishes it tenfold. The gifts we receive through giving cannotbe measured or taken away, for as we give with Love, we receive Love, and thiscycle of Life of Love is eternal.

When loneliness calls in the middle of the night

how are we to answer?

It whispers in our very soul

An ache we cannot see

We push aside and try not to feel

yet it lingers there

Sending out its lonesome cry

of wilderness and despair

This calling creeps inside your soul

and won't let go its teeth

Yet we don't want its presence

and try to ignore it's void

When loneliness comes into ones space

It's wanting won't let go

Until you face the reasons

That called it to your soul

Like so many things it's an inside job

one of our own creation

for if we are not satisfied with ourselves

This monster in does creep

Once this knowledge is in the front

loneliness loses control

for now the power lies within

to change your very soul

Loneliness seems a void to fill

deep within ourselves

It calls to us a song of woe

A melody we sing or change

Instead of humming this old tune

get out of your own head

take a look around yourself

and see more than lonely dread

See instead the ray of sun

That wakes you every morn

The song of birds and sultry breeze

that brushes across your cheek

For loneliness is an inside job

it comes without gratitude

our head down and heart closed

it fills us seemingly complete

yet when we take that lowered brow

and turn it to the Light

our heart it beats a little faster

as the rays of hope seep in

So when you feel alone and sad

even in a crowded room

look instead into the Light

that lives inside of you

Melancholy as no place

when you're dancing in the sun

Darkness has no sting or fear

when Light brings Peace and Love

No need to rely on human forms

to bring us happiness

It lies within each of us

Love and Light will open the door

Let go of all the self doubt and fear

and step into the Light

For this Light it reaches out for you

awakening yourself

For when your filled with Love and Light

you are never alone

Instead your part of this great puzzle

Your piece completes it whole

This is a first draft of what came to me at 0 dark thirty this morning... As most of what I post, it has technical flaws and is raw... but, sometimes the need from my inspiration pushes hard to sare. The time is now, is what I hear, as to someone this must be heard... So I put it here in this rough form... to share inspiration to a soul....

We all have moments, days, times that we feel we are all alone in this world and lonliness and dispair can sneak in. These feelings tend to come when we forget to be greatful; to be breathing, to be able to learn the lessons from difficulties/pains/problems we face in our every day lives. We see others around us happy and seemingly care free yet inside there is a hole that eats away if we let it... When we compair, dispair, forget that even in the hardest strongest darkest storms in our life, the Light is always shining above the clouds... It lies within ourselves.... God, Creator, Source, I AM, placed in each and every soul a Light that is part of the whole, the ONE. When we realize this, then we are not alone, as within each and every one of us, there lives this conective Light... It shines brightest with a greatful heart.

Once we recognize this Light, this Love, is In/With/Through us; we realize we are ONE with Love, ONE with Light. We learn that through this Love we must love ourselves and once we realize this, it is then that we truly can love others. Loneliness is just a shadow of our own creation and Love is the Light that shines to illuminate the Truth.

Blessings to those you Love, including yourself.

May we all learn to love ourselves and each other. We are all ONE family living on this earth to share expiriences, share ideas, share friendships, share love.

We are ONE IN the Spirit, We are ONE WITH the Light, We are ONE THROUGH God

This literally came flooding in so fast my hand could not keep up writing... I could barley read what was written.. today I feel the need to revisit and edit and add to the message that came... So, it is with gratitude and humility, I shine this Light for others to see...

We are ONE IN the Spirit, We areONE WITH the Light,

We are ONE THROUGH God.

TheGreat Divine, Creator, God, Infinite Intelligence, Master, Trinity, Teacher,Light, ..., "I Am",... has been and always will be in-with-andthrough us. This "Light" (if you will) is part of each of us and willbe in-with-and through us throughout eternity.

Do we let Light shine?

Do we put restrictions on shiningour Light?

Have we hidden the Light?

Have we dowsed the flame toaccommodate others beliefs?

Are we afraid to let it shine forfear of retribution?

Do we shine only for some and notfor all?

Do you look for the Light in others?

Are you able to look beyond theshadows and darkness to see the glimmer of Light in others?...in yourself?

TheLight that is part of each and every soul is eternal. It cannot be put out. Theembers are always there, ready, waiting, willing to shine. Even the seeminglydarkest people have this Light, this ember. They have just hidden it so deepcovering it with fear, hurt, anguish, hate, greed, resentment, ego, etc... Theyhave placed and ocean of darkness within themselves trying to put out theLight..... BUT, the LIGHT cannot be stopped.

Hate CANNOT devour Love and Love ISLight

Fear CANNOT douse the knowledge/thefaith of eternal Light

Ego/greed/power CANNOT defeat theembers of Hope, Love, and Light that survive eternity.

Light is there, waiting at thedoor... waiting for the opportunity, the inquisitiveness of the dark to openthe door to see what is behind it. It is this small breath of movement, ofhesitation from the dark, that gently blows upon the eternal embers.... thedarkness has no choice but to see, feel, know.. this small indiscernible glowis there... pure darkness is no more... the ember of eternal Light neversleeps. Even the smallest breath warms the darkest coal. For deep inside thatcoal, the Ember of the Spirit Lives.... Waiting with Love... to warm even thecoldest and darkest of hearts. Once awakened, this ember, this Light will neveragain be dimmed. It starts to warm, to glow, to thrive.

Whatabout those in the Light? Those who's flames already shine? True Light has noego... it does have self worth... self awareness... but ego has no place... forego places one above another, ego seeks power, ego is destructive of the TrueLight. So why this warning of ego? Why not cry out " My Light shines sobright!!"? No, be humble in the Light, for the Light works in you...withyou... through you... it shines in and of itself. It magnifies what is neededfrom you to shine to the world. Light, does not need our help, our ego, to dothe work that is needed... Instead it needs our self esteem, our self worth...to know, we are worthy of the Light.... we are worthy of being, doing, sharing,shining this Light allowing it to work in/with and through us, not us using itbut rather, the Light (so to speak) using us for the good of all. For we areONE with the Light.

Whereand when does ego affect our Light? When we judge others... "oh did yousee so and so"... "can you believe that".... "OMG what a blank that person is"... thelist is endless and we all do it at one point or another in our lives... it ispart of our learning process of being human...

ego vs. self esteem the wrestling match of humanity.

· EGOwants recognition

· EGOwants reward

· EGO,second guesses

· EGOhesitates to offer help

· EGOworries

· EGOjudges

· EGOstops the flow of Spirit

· EGOstands in the way of Light

Who arewe to stand in the way of the Light. For when we stand in the way of the Light,we cast shadows of darkness. We inhibit the breath of Life that we so want toshare... for when we stand and speak, act or react with EGO, we are taintingand changing the True Light's purpose into that of our ego's.

Howcan we overcome ego? First by remembering that the Light doesn't need our helpto shine. Rather it needs us to put aside our ego and let the Light emanatefrom our soul, our spirit... allow the Light to be ONE in, with and througheach of us... There is the thread that combines.

TrueLight needs no help to shine. It needs no boast of how much it can do.... itonly needs a source, a conduit, a vessel (if you will).. it needs one soul toshed Light/Love onto another.... souls equal, souls worthy... all souls ONEthrough the Divine, God, Creator, "I AM".

Itis without ego, that we, as Spirit beings of Light, must respond, withouthesitation or fear and reach out, through the darkness to touch the spark inanother. Let them know they are also children of the Light. The ember is therewaiting, for that moment we can take away the cloak, the cover we ourselves ashumanity placed, .. peel away the hate... throw out the hurt, the fear thatkeeps us in the dark.... It does not serve us well... It makes us cold, hungry,hateful, angry and bitter. Turn out the demons of the darkness and feel theember inside grow...... let it chase away the shadows that seem so powerful inthe dark... Feel the Light Lighten your load as the shadows fade from the formof our own creation.... Let the Light take over... and illuminate what is trulythere... open the possibilities.. the hopes... the joys.... the LOVE that ispart of our eternal soul...

OnceSpirit's Light ignites we must nurture it with mediation, prayer, time withnature; sprinkle it with Love, Hope, Joy and Laughter.... watch it grow.... andlet it shine for others to see... share your Light as it is endless and no onecan take it away from you... the more you give away, the more you have... themore that join in the Light, the brighter it shines.... for as ONE with theLight, we are ONE with the Spirit, and we are ONE throughGod/Divine/Creator/Infinite Intelligence/I AM.

Itis with Gratitude and Humility that your Light will shine bright. A selflessact of loving kindness, no matter how small it may seem, is all it takes tospread the breath of Light... that one seemingly small action, may be the airneeded to enliven the ember that lives inside another soul...

***Itis with Humble Thanksgiving that we can Forgive, Live, Love, Laugh through lifeand share Joy, Hope, Compassion and Love with ourselves and others... for webreathe from the Light of Spirit that lives In-With and Through us every day...every way.... Join with me... as ONE in, with and through the Eternal Light ***

When the cry of "Please" is answered, remember to always say THANK YOU.

We seem to be in a time of confusion and chaos both physical and spiritual. It is easy to fall to the shortcomings of hopelessness, fear, unworthiness, unlovable, etc.. these negative feels can spread and grow like weeds in an untended garden.

As unpleasant a task as it may seem, we have to be vigilant and pull out the weeds of negativity, till the soil and fertilize it with Hope, Love, Faith and Light and shower it with Gratitude... Soon the flowers of the soul come out and become strong... over shadowing the weeds of negativity with the positive, ONEness of Love and Light....

We can choose what we want to do. Difficult as the act of choosing may seem, it is possible; and imperative, that we do make the choice to pull out one weed at a time... for once you start... you will feel LIGHTer and the energy you receive will allow you to continue to cultivate the positive, free, Lighter you...

A soulful cry of "Please" is heard through the wilderness and answered....

as is the released sigh of "Thank You..."

It is gratitude that allows you to continue along your path with the renewed strength of Love and Light

I wrote this a while ago to inspire a troubled soul:

Light and darkness are both part of life. You can't have night without the day or day without the night. Both have their place in life... Yet, even in darkness there lies Light; the moon and stars come to mind first, Even on the darkest nights, up above, beyond the dark, there are a multitude of stars shining bright… Even now, we don‘t know how many or how vast the universe is….

I'd like to say Light and darkness are the yin and yang of life. They walk hand in hand... at times, one giving way to the other; sorry, hate, sadness, resentments...giving way to Hope, laughter and giggles, Love, Peace, Inspirations... Rainbows!

I choose to live as much of my life in the Light as I can... yet when I was younger, that was not how I felt.. It's in going through the darkness, the dark times, that make the glimmers of Light more precious...

Write out the darkness as it is part of you and me as well... write it down, get it out of the soul... look for the glimmer of Light through the darkness, let go of the hand of darkness and see what wonders await... I know you won't be disappointed...

There are so many things to explore, do, see, contemplate.. Life….so complex with emotions…. Write out the darkness… get it out…. Down on paper.. out on canvas or clay… with each movement of the pen, stroke of the brush or feel of the clay… see, feel, smell, taste, look for the glow of Hope, Love, Light… you’ll find it there beyond the darkness waiting for you… I promise… you won’t be disappointed…

A Tribute to Jack; written for Kate and her family: The Magnificent, Magical, Never Ending Adventure of Moo and Me:SPIRIT JOURNEY

Funny how someone I've never met can touch my heart so deeply... but then again... Love is contagious...

Sweet Jack is now soaring with the eagles, high above the clouds... running pain free through the meadows of vibrant flowers... he is walking hand in hand with God telling stories and finding out all about how the world was made... he is cherished by his sister Kate and his Mom's, Steph ,Jen and Gretchen... he is chasing around Tut and Shelby as they bark and run outside.... he is in the breeze that gently blows a kiss across the cheeks of those he loved... he is the inspiration for those going through hardships as his heart always cared for others.... He is that butterfly who's wings are felt across the ages...Jack may have only been 9 years old in human years, but he shared the knowledge of eternal Love...

The lesson he taught others, the wisdom held in that tiny body with the soul of an angel, was that we are all connected, we are all One, we are all Love.... Jack's body may be gone, but his spirit of Love and sharing, no... shining that Love to all he met... that, dear friends, lives on.. in you, in me, in all he touched... Thank you Jen for sharing your story on caringbridge... and thank you Kate for sharing the best brother ever... he left you big shoes to fill....... and from what Jack and your Mom's and Gretchen say, you have a giving spirit as well and will fill your own shoes well...

So, to everyone that sent prayers and healing;Thank You.... to all that will carry on Jacks legacy of Oneness and Love; Thank you...

And for all those doing and funding research for these deadly diseases and debilitating illnesses; Thank you.

What a Thought to wake up to... and how true is this "thought for today":

Thoughts are more powerful than actions because they are the creators of actions. You have to keep in mind that the thought-waves of your good wishes and pure feelings, your vibrations of peace and love, can once again bring harmony in nature and happiness in the world."

Imagine if each and every ONE of us did this. Changed our thoughts to the positive, change our thoughts to LOVE... Don't we all sometimes wonder how we can BE the change we want to see in the world? or what we can do to help change the world? ...

Well here is a place to start... One person, One thought of LOVE...

Imagine if every One's thoughts were on Love; Imagine how that One thought, that One word LOVE can change things...Peace, Joy, Happiness, prosperity are all byproducts of Love.

Imagine: One Thought of Love instead of hate.... One thought of Love instead of fear.... One thought of Love instead of sadness... One thought of Love instead of judgment.... One thought of Love instead of contempt....

For One thought of Love is a companion for the lonely....One thought of Love can stop and argument... One thought of Love creates compassion..... One thought of Love creates ONEness... One thought of Love can move a mountain....One thought of Love can bridge a gap... One thought of Love can help a neighbor.... One thought of Love can cross the ocean....and... One thought of Love can heal the world.....imagine... One thought of LOVE.

Think about this too.... what ONE common thought runs through all the great masters and teachers, prophets and the teachings in most Holy books? The ONE answer is LOVE..... Think about LOVE and I know you will be forever changed...

and yes with LOVE; Peace, Joy and yes even Harmony (with each other and all things) are possible....

If we all started with One thought of Love right now, today... imagine... and then see how it changes your world today... If negative thoughts come in, replace them with Love... If frustration comes in focus on Love... when wondering what to do, think Love and the answer will come...

May your thoughts be One of Love and in being so, may Peace, Joy, Happiness, Abundance and Harmony follow...

TRANSITION

Angels and loved ones gather round

Sharing the Love they have found

Though we can't always see their face

They surround us with their Loving Grace

God lends us to this place called earth

Until it's time for our rebirth

The song is soft, and gentle and sweet

Calling our heart and soul complete

In silence now we hear the call

A Light shines bright just down the hall

To those we leave their hearts will sorrow

But I know there's another tomorrow

Where son shines down upon meadows green

And flowers of colors you've never seen

If only those we leave behind

Could know that heaven is oh so kind

Where Angels sing and dogs do dance

and people roam and unicorns prance

For now I know my time is near

God holds my hand, I have no fear

I lived my life as I chose to do

Me and my family and yes, even Moo

So remember all the laughs and giggles

And then feel me next to you with all my wiggles

For my body may leave but my Spirit Lives

God keeps All Promises that He did gives

So when I talk as if in my sleep

It's to Angles as Guardians' they do keep

I Love you all with all my heart

And soon my Life I will have a new start

Remember I am only as for as your heart

Just some random thoughts running though my mind today:
Let your inner Light shine... God gave us each a Spirit filled with Love. Some have hidden that light deep but it still resides inside each and every one of us.... waiting for the opportunity.... for that gentle breeze to blow and start the embers burning again... Light can never be extinguished.... only hidden... so remember next time you see someone with a very deeply hidden inner Light... it is there just waiting for someone/thing to blow a gentle breeze and start the flame of Love again... So you see if we all are Love and show Love to others... you may just be that catalyst that helps to change the coals in another back to their original state of Loving Inner Spirit... My challenge for you today is to be that breeze of Hope/Love/Compassion one person, one situation, one event at a time and then watch God work in/with/through you/us....

Today is a day that God has made. Let us Rejoice and be Glad in it!! Spring has sprung and flowers are blooming... the sun is always shining above the clouds... Trust that all is right with the world.... Believe that God is working in, with and through you in all that you do... Love is always the right answer....

Happy Mother's Day!

I write sometimes with ease

Yet when it comes to Mothers

They have many complexities

Not found in many others

Do I write about their beauty

They share with those around?

Or do I focus on their strengths

So many it's profound

Like gardener's in the world of life

They cultivate and grow

Weed and feed and water

Nurturing what they sow

I can talk about her heart inside

Surrounding yours with Love

Always there uplifting you

Like gentle wings from above

And then there is such strength

Found in a Mother's soul

Standing strong in her convictions

Raising us well is her goal

Like a faithful tree she's there

Her arms outstretched and open

We run to her Love and Strength

When feeling frail and broken

A Mother's hand can be firm

While teaching right from wrong

Yet when we need her soothing

She's there singing us a song

And what about her inner child

Sharing Joy, laughter and fun

Mother's will go outside and play

Hitting softballs in the sun

I know there is a fragile side

When things are out of her control

That melancholy moment

When a Mother can't console

Life is sometimes harsh and hard

A Mother's heart can break

Pain can touch her inner soul

Bringing tears and heartache

A Mother's spirit won't stay down

Perpetually it grows

Spreading Love and Compassion

Nurturing as she sows

Such complex Beauty's in a Mother

We honor you today

I guess I found my words

Yet there's so much more to say

Thank You hardly seems enough

For all that Mother's do

So I add I Love you Mom

From my heart that is true

One wish I have is just to be

Half the woman that you are

Moo and me were hanging around
Looking for something to do

I wiggled my toes and stretched a bit
"I'm out of idea's how about you?"

Moo thought a bit and licked his lips
Saying"How bout we do something special?"

I put up my hands saying"what do you mean?"
Moo sat with his legs like a pretzel

"Sometimes we can't travel the way we want
When we're tired and our legs don't work"

"Well I tried this once and its pretty cool
If I tell you... don't think I'm a jerk"

"You see the mind is a powerful thing
And we only use a small part"

"Just close your eyes and think real hard
Try using your brain and your heart"

"I don't get it Moo what do you mean?
You said something Special to me?"

"Hold on now Jack you'll find out soon
Follow me and listen... then you'll see"

Moo said to think hard of something we know
Or someone we'd like to meet

I thought of someone, or thing if you will
She had four wings and six feet

I told Moo he should see her too
He said"I will....OK...here goes"

And soon he said,"I see her Jack!"
"She's got a tail and a cute little nose"

"That's her! That's her! You see her too"
"MMoooo, she's cute! What is her name?"

Without moving my lips I thought a question
She answered my thoughts just the same

Everything was still as I heard, "Dragonfly Tut"
And I almost fell out of my chair

But how can that be, I didn't say a word
Are my thoughts more than thin air?

She tells me secrets of how to have fun
And help others without leaving my place

"You see", she says, "your thoughts have power
It goes beyond time and space"

If someones lonely or just needs a hug
You don't have to go very far"

"Just picture them in your mind's eye
You can see them without even a car"

Think of me and my magical wings
Any thing's possible, you know what I mean?"

I thought of the lines of a dragonfly's wings
Especially the bright green ones I'd seen"

So now that I have this magical tool
I can visit without leaving my bed

All I have to do is think real hard
Using my heart and my head

I thanked Tut and had one question more
She answered and I smiled and waved

Moo and I said our good byes
Knowing, that's a memory to be saved

That night I laid in my bed awake
Thinking of all I could do

I stayed real quiet not wanting to wake
The sleeping, soft snoring Moo

So I used my brain and my heart
Thinking with all of my might

As soon as it came, I knew what to do
Then sleep took over the night

The next morning I asked Moo how he slept
"Heavenly" is what he said

"Did anything special happen in your dreams?"
He thought and then his smile spread

"I felt your hug and heard you laugh
I felt comfort and so much Love"

"It worked!", I said, "Dragonfly Tut was right!"
"She said to think and ask God Above"

"Anything good you feel deep in your heart
Will shine Light into another's soul"

"I wanted you to know how much you are Loved
That was my head and heart's goal"

The Magnificent, Magical, Never Ending Adventure of Moo and Me: The Mine

Moo and I got back today

Tried to sleep but had to play

The galaxies were so much fun

I can't sit still I want to run

"Where too now?" I ask my friend

"mmmmmoooo" he says "that may depend"

"Did you ask Momma what she thought?"

"Let's just leave, we won't get caught"

"Remember the mine you and Momma explored?"

"You mean the one where all the gold is stored?"

"Let's go!" " Let's go!" we both agreed

"You go get everything that we need"

So off Moo went to gather up things

I gathered my light and colored strings

Flashlights and boots and a miners hat

"I hope we're able to see a bat"

Momma's reading a book so we snuck out

I gave Moo a kiss right on his snout

Got on his back and off we went

Into the mine we walked all bent

On with the flashlights we need to see

Off we go , One, Two, Three

Down, down... the ceiling at our backs

Look how fast we're making tracks.

There's a bend up ahead and a Y

"Oh no... which way should we try?"

I said left as Moo said right

We each looked down with our trusty light

"What do you see?" I asked Moo

"A glow in the dark down a mile or two"

Our hearts speed up as we go explore

We go to the right to see some more

It's not too far when the walls start to glisten

"Do you hear that noise, shhh, just listen?"

I scramble alongside and cup my ear

How strange is that it sounds quite clear

"Momma wouldn't want us to go that far"

Yet on we went wishing we had her car

On hands and knees we did crawl

Boy am I glad we're both small

Down and down this dark road

"I should've brought my lucky toad."

I ribbitt out loud and sing toads song

"Come on, Come on it can't be long!"

The light gets brighter as we turn the bend

Moo stops so fast I hit his rear end

WOW! Amazing would you look at that

It's glow worms dancing with a bat

You thought you knew the electric slide

The glow worm's silk sure helps them glide

They all turn at once to stop and stare

"Turn off your lights your causing a glare"

Our flashlights off yet we could see

How many glowworms could there be

"What are you two; troglobites?

You sure to have funny looking lights?

We looked at each other quite confused

While they looked at us quite amused

"Cave dwellers gents is what we mean

You're not even slimy you don't glean"

My name is Jack and this is Moo

We come from where the sky is blue

Come on and join our Celebration

The bat is Kate and it's her graduation

I take off my hat saying "How do you do?"

"My name's Jack and this is Moo"

I put on their hat and drank pink slime

We both started dancing keeping time

"Whew I'm tired and I need a break"

Just then they brought out the cake

"Happy Graduation you must be proud"

I hollered to Kate above the crowd

We ate purple cake with poke-a-dots

"Ice cream and caramel.. put on LOTS!"

She opened up gifts the last one to go

A funny lizard that looked like a toe

Moo and me each looked at the ground

"We must find a gift let's look around"

I reached in my pocket and pulled out a string

Tied it to her finger it made a cute ring

"How nice of you to think of me so

I hate to say it but it's time to go"

One last dance we danced with Kate

A wiggle dance with glow worms...Great!

Saying good bye we put on our light

"The battery's dead" we said in fright

"No worries new friends we'll help you along"

"We'll shine you a way that's not so long"

We inched along as worms tend to do

Following close were me and Moo Moo

Climbing up higher we felt the rise

Soon we saw light to our surprise

"Thank you glowworms here's something for you

Lots of colored string; Red White and Blue"

They turned and glowed back into their cave

We said good bye and turned with a wave

We squinted our eyes as we came into the sun

Talking and laughing , we had so much fun

Oh what stories we will have to tell

Of Kate and Glow worms and slimy gel

I climbed on Moo's back and off we ran

"Will we make it?" Moo answered, "I think we can"

We ran straight home, didn't stop to play

We'll have more adventures another day

See The Eyes Of God

The world seems a bit crazy lately, wars, natural disasters, death... We look for reasons and want answers. We want to fix, prevent, stop all of these things... Our hearts and minds race; our anxiety skyrockets... I say to you, find time to stop, that's right just stop yourself, your mind... and look... yep really look into a child's eyes.... They seem to have an answer that we, as adults forgot. A Knowing, a Trust, that there is someone greater than them taking care of things.... If you don't have a child then grab a magazine and find one of those heart felt photo's of a child.... and look deep within the eyes....you will find there is so much more to life... for deep within those eyes, you will find LOVE.

We, as humans, need to take notice and stop what is in our control to stop.... heal, what is in our control to heal... and Trust that God is there All Knowing, All Seeing... Watching, Waiting, Encouraging His children to learn, through the hard lessons, learn from our own human mistakes, and remember what we seem to forget... We are all Children of God... Look into your neighbors eyes, a friends, an enemies, your own... truly look beyond our perceived human faults and prejudices... look deep within the eyes... to the core... it is there you will see the ONE heritage we ALL share.... The common thread of us all.... see the child of God looking back at you....
Once you do this, see it feel it, you will never be the same... you will no longer be able to hold grudges, keep anger, resentments, you will no longer want to hurt or cause pain.... Love comes in and fills those old places of hurt and despair with Forgiveness, Hope, Grace and Love. This will be the catalyst needed to start making changes first in ourselves, and then to heal the earth.... for if we have Love in our hearts and realize we are all Brothers and Sisters of the ONE Great Creator, we will re-connect with our ONE true Nature of unity with humanity, the earth and beyond.

At times life seems hard

We try to look for answers

And stumble in the dark

We want to fix what's broken

Our power is too weak

Individuals that we are

Like a storm it keeps on coming

Make it go away!

Rain dampens the inner spark

Sometimes the pain's too much

We cannot even see

Why is God so far?

Through tearful eyes I wonder

A child's eyes peer up

Staring back at me

There is Wisdom in these eyes

This child of the Light

Teaching me how to cope

The knowledge of the ages

The beauty of the now

A glimpse of God I see

It's the reunion of all Spirits

As I Look into the eyes

Filled with so much Hope

I see God's Love and Grace

Then the Understanding

Easing shards of pain

God is always closest
When we feel He's not

follow the Truth into the Eternal Light of God...

I wrote this for a family that is loosing the battle with childhood cancer. They are preparing for yet another journey of life. One that we must all walk some day... but never alone.... Angels are there guiding the last earthly breath and encouraging the very next breath of Eternal Light, Love and Life ..... We are all Gods Children... Sons and daughters of the Light... each with our cross to carry through our journey.... the one Hope that Lives in each soul.... shall follow the Truth into the Eternal Light of God...

It is hard through the tears of pain and loss to see the joys of New Beginnings, New Hope, New Life...A transition, if you will: from a human body with a Spirit guided Soul, to a Heavenly Spirit guided Soul.... returning home to a Heavenly Family that Loves and has missed him while he's been Blessings those here on earth.

God calls all children home back to our Eternal Home. Our hearts ache as human hearts do as grieve we must. But when the breath comes, and air breezes through.... we feel, we know, that our loved one is there... perfect in every way.... We find comfort in the sweet scent we detect, the brush of an unseen touch, the kiss of a breeze across your cheek.... You know your loved one is there.... being held in the softest hand, protected by the Love of the Eternal God....

This is what I wrote for Jack and his family:
This is a time of year we remember God's human journey of trials, pain and Truth.... He walked through life knowing what would happen, yet he shared His Light with all. He traveled His journey on earth for a short time, and rejoined with His heavenly Family.

We are all children of God Created in His image. And Jack is walking his own human journey.... as your son, and as a cherished child of God. We all can only hope to live our lives as full and joyful as Jack and everyone at Camp Jack. You shine Light even in the darkness... and have shared that Light with all.... What a great lesson you are teaching each and every one of us. I thank you for that as it is though you we glimpse God.

You are Angels here on earth. I look into Jack's eyes (OK, only through photo's but...) and through them, I see his heritage come through... I see the eyes of God looking In, With and Through him. There is depth of knowledge of the ages in his eyes... a pool of infinatant souls joining in his Light.... His eye's shine the Wisdom and Grace of God...

Stay strong as you follow in the footsteps of those that have gone before. You are a child of God and, as with us all, in God's time... we are all called home. May your journey continue as you follow Gods Light to so many adventures you have yet to behold....
May God grant you His Healing power and Grace, may He comfort you in times of darkness and may His Glory Shine upon you and all at camp Jack and grant you His Peace and Understanding.

May the Blessings and the Promise of Easter Be with you always.

The Magnificent, Magical,
Never Ending Adventures of Moo and Me

I love where I am and all that I’ve met

But sometimes I yearn for more

There are many places that I've never been

I just want to go explore

I think tonight I'll give it a try

And take along co-pilot Moo

We'll fly together while in my dreams

'Cuz that's what best friends do

Flying into the night with Moo at my side

Our first stop is Mr. Moon

I say he's cheese but Moo says he's not

We'll both find out real soon

A few minutes more and we're over the moon

Seeing a crater, we land in its dust

Moo was right the moon is not cheese

But it's flour on a pizza crust

We nibble a bit and then have to leave

It's time to go on our way

"Moo it's your turn to choose where we go

And it looks like you want to play"

So off we go passing twinkling stars

Waving at them as we fly

I see ahead where Moo wants to go

"Not the milky way", I say with a sigh

Moo smiles at me and waves his tail

As if he's got a plan up his sleeve

We fly really close and I'm amazed to see

White, chocolate, strawberry... I can't Believe!

We swoop down close but he doesn't stop

It's up and onward we go

I quick lean over and slurp a taste

Hmm, Milky way's milk, how could I know

He winks at me and moos a laugh

Snorting milk out of his nose

I giggle and laugh as he's on a roll

Curling his tail he makes a pig pose

"Where are we going?" , I ask to my friend
" You'll see, just hang on to my back"

Traveling far we finally reach a place

Moo calls this Nebula Jack

"Wow!", I say, "" is it named after me?"

Moo laughs and says "" but of course"

" Can we stay awhile and play a bit?"

" Hey,... what?... Wait?... is that a horse?"

Riding up close comes a magnificent foal

Her mother is close behind

They stop and stare right into our eyes

Asking, if we're horses, what kind?

I laugh so hard I start falling off Moo

The foal comes up by my side

She looks at me and smiles a bit, saying

" Hey do you want to ride?"

I slide off Moo and onto her back

And off exploring we go

It's over gas clouds and nebula bands

" Watch out a comet! Duck low!"

We play for a while this foal and me

Until Moo and Mommy say "" it's time"

So off I slide and give a great hug

And back onto Moo I climb

With tears in our eyes we say our goodbyes

asking " Will I see you again?"

""We live so far beyond many stars

I'll call you, do you have a pen"

Exchanging numbers and telling stories

We find we share many views

I look and take notice of something peculiar

Foal changes colors and hues

Moo and Mommy keep trying to move us along

And I ask foal "What is your name?"

"Oh", she smiled, "how could I forget.

It's Kate. And I'm glad you came"

"I have surprise, it's a secret you know

I'm never that far away

I'll be in your heart and in your dreams

It's Love's magic some might say"

Mommy smiles at me and Moo winks too
And I whisper right back in Kate's ear
""If you miss me too just look around and see
in colors and rainbows; I'm near"

We wave good bye saying "see you again"

Each flying in our own way

We smile with Hope as we know the Truth

We'll see each other again some day

This is the link to an amazing true story of Faith, Strength, Hope, Courage and Love. Holding on through a journey that would cripple many. Yet, through the tears, there is so much that comes through Love, so much that comes through Caring, We all have our journey, our road we travel....As humans we are prone to hang onto the why..... but as Souls we know that it is about the how... It is with that inner strength, wisdom, Faith, Grace, courage, Hope, Love, etc... that we follow our Guiding Light for however long it takes and through whatever hardships and joys..... We are all teachers, we are all student's..... we are ALL children of God.

.... If you want a glimpse of God's eye's... Look into Jack's.... for All children favor their parents in some way or other...

THE ROAD WE TRAVEL

When feeling lost and afraid

Look up and you will find

Many angels around your every side

So many of every kind

They cannot interfere with life

they are only there to guide

Each journey lived has to be traveled

No matter how hard the ride

As humans it's hard to understand

Why some roads are so rough

It doesn't seem fair that this is the way

That life should be this tough

Yet each of us is a precious soul

with our own road to ride

Things we must learn and also teach

To all those on this side

God has a plan for each of us

That's perfect in its own way

Though it may not seem fair to us

It is Guided every day

It is with Faith that we get through

One moment at a time

Each breath we take, a precious gift

God's Grace; a perfect rhyme

We are travelers here on this earth

part of the Master's plan

Some day we will all understand

Every child, woman and man

We walk our paths as best we can

While we're here on earth

The ultimate Goal is to learn and live

As we travel to rebirth

There is no end to Life you see

It's only a transition

From one form to another

At least that's my position

So live each moment so it's full filled

Let God and Angels guide

For the road we travel never truly ends

We just change how we ride

The Journey

God gives us each a road to travel

A journey that's all our own

No one knows how longs the path

Or how many seeds are sown

One thing's for sure each step we take

Is watched from Above.

Be it long or short in human time

Moments are guided by Love

We do not know the twists or turns

Or the length of the road

But we do know God Light's the Way

Guiding each path that's sowed

When life seems hard or even cut short

Go to the depth of your soul

It's there you'll find Infinite answers

As God sets our individual goal

We are eternal Souls; Spirits if you will

With a temporal experience here

Be it a moment in time or a life full filled

Our existence is what's dear

Many Teachers we meet as our paths cross

And so, many lessons to learn

A loved one's journey is not ours to walk

Yet, they are our concern

Remember the Light that guides your way

Shines with Strength and Love

When we feel pain of suffering and loss

Follow the Light, and look above

It is there you'll find comfort and hope

As the stars remind us you see

That each short journey here on earth

Is a gateway to Eternity.

God created each and every one of us

and it's Love and Light he sends

"So live each day as if it is your last

And learn as if it never ends..."
